And did you know that the ahupua`a of Kualoa was so sacred that passing chiefs ordered their sails lowered our of respect for the sanctity of Kualoa?
These and other stories will be shared on June 13th when the Ko`olaupoko Hawaiian Civic Club once again hosts two tours of Kane`ohe Bay aboard the glassbottom boat, leaving from He`eia-Kea Pier.
Members of the club will share mo`olelo - stories - of the nine ahupua`a around Kane`ohe Bay from Mokapu to Kualoa.
