Internship opportunity at He'eia Fishpond

Announcing another internship opportunity at He'eia Fishpond.

This one is for folks that might be interested in helping with scientific research conducted in the fishpond.

The Laulima a 'Ike Pono (LAIP) project is a collaborative project between Paepae o He'eia, the Hawai'i Institute of Marine Biology and the University of Hawai'i's Department of Oceanography.  We support research at He'eia Fishpond that helps us better understand our dynamic fishpond environment, this research, in turn, will help to inform us how to better care for and manage our fishpond.  Interns will not only assist in research activities, but will learn from fishpond practitioners and kupa'aina (locals) of the area.

Mahalo,

Hi'ilei Kawelo Executive Director Paepae o He'eia, He'eia Fishpond www.paepaeoheeia.org office: 236-6178 fax:234-1999
