Update: Start Of Year-Long Sewer Project To Be Reviewed At Neighborhood Board Meeting

A year-long project to upgrade sewer lines and a pump station in a Kaneohe neighborhood will be discussed at the Kaneohe Neighborhood Board meeting on Thursday, October 15.

The project will include the replacement or rehabilitation of approximately 250 feet of pipes and improvements to a pump station. The work will be located between Mikiola Drive and Kaimalu Place. Work is tentatively expected to start in Mid-December and continue into January 2017.

Project representatives will attend the Neighborhood Board meeting as part of a larger effort to communicate with interested community members. Project leaders plan to start sending email notices of project activities soon. Representatives also plan to give an overview of the project at the Board’s November 19 meeting.

Project information is available on the web at www.kaneohesewer.com. Community members may sign up for email notifications on the website or at http://eepurl.com/bBmNhf.

The Neighborhood Board meeting will take place in the cafeteria of Benjamin Parker Elementary School, 45-259 Waikalua Road, starting at 7 p.m.
